Yet again I'm behind so sorry. But at least i haven't completely forgotten. Last week i made Chicken Noodle Soup from Ramen Noodles, potatoes from my parents, carrots, and canned chicken. It was soo good. I was quite surprised how well it came out. I didn't use any broth other then the juice from the canned chicken.
Last night i made Egg Drop Soup. It only took 4 cups of chicken broth, a tad bit of ginger, a few splashes of soy sauce, a dash of salt and one egg and two egg whites. It was delicious! Not perfect but amazing for my first of ever trying to make it! I couldn't believe how tasty it was! I will definitely be making that more often.

A week ago, I invited my friend over to have dinner with me at my new apartment. I set out chicken breast and they marinated in Italian dressing. I found some green beans fresh from someone's garden so i boiled those up. I was looking through one of my cookbooks trying to find any sort of other food i could serve with this meal. I found this sauce that was said to be made with asparagus but i figured that it would work with green beans too. The sauce was called Maple-Mustard Sauce. It contains Maple Syrup, Dijon Mustard, and Olive Oil, making it very simple for me to make here at my apartment. I grilled the chicken in a skillet on the stove, and for fruit i opened a can of peaches. This is what consisted of our meal on Thursday night, July 12th. My friend and i loved every bite! Especailly the green beans and sauce. It was so scruptious! I cannot wait to make it again!
Last night my brother or myself did not have to work. So i told him that i would be making dinner. Which he didn't mind at all, the less he has to do the better. I had really been craving Spaghetti yesterday so i decided that was what i was going to make. I had to go to the store though, to buy sauce. We had some brauts in the refrigerator that i knew would work perfectly as meat for my sauce. First i started cooking the brauts a skillet in chunks. Then i started boiling water for the spaghetti. I put some canned green beans in a small pot to heat up. I really wanted my brother to try that Maple-Mustard Sauce that i made the other night. Of course i made it again specailly for him. I also started heating the spaghetti sauce. Once the brauts were cooked very well i scraped them into the sauce. Everything came together perfectly. I felt like such a professional. My brother really liked the Maple-Mustard Sauce, and enjoyed every bite of the spaghetti. My adventures don't end here...just keep looking for my next post!

As you can see, I have failed to keep this blog up to date. So much has happened since the last time I have been on here. Most importantly, I have an apartment! I do have to share it with my brother but i still get the same "real life" experience. It has been full of responsibility to keep this place up to par and filling it with resources. That is all I am going to write today, but I will be back soon to tell of my past.

Yay!
Had a great day! First day of student tutoring! I helped Mrs.Wittenburg, she had me take kids aside and taught them coins. Lots of fun! Now i'm almost considering being an elementary teacher! Ugh if i only knew what i want to do for the rest of my life this wouldn't be that hard. Oh well. And hopefully i can get a job someday.

Memorial Weekend!
This Friday Amanda, Kayla and i are going on our bachelorette party. I think we are just going to go to a movie. I am sooo excited though!
Saturday is going to be a very busy day. At 10:30A.M. is the Bridal Shower! I hope we have everything we need, all the decorations, plates, cups and napkins. Also Saturday is Zayne's graduation party. Mom is getting really stressed out i can tell, and the wedding hasn't even happened yet. It is crazy how time flies by. Next thing ya know i will be graduating.
Sunday is the big day for Zayne, Graduation. I will be singing in the choir, and i can't wait to wear my beautiful dresses.
